I have seen alot of talk about “disabled people wouldn’t be disabled if the world was accessible” yes accessibility is a big issue right now and for some people this statement might be true, however even if the world was completely accessible I would still be disabled. I am not able to do everything I want to do and no amount of accessibility will change that. Yes accessibility is incredibly important and accessibility is the reason why I can access what I can of the world but even if the entire earth was accessible I’d still be disabled because some issues just can’t be fixed. VD: The video shows multiple clips of Jess, a 19 year old white female with medium length brown hair. In all of the clips she is in her pink and black RGK wheelchair and is only wearing a shoe on her left foot due to her CRPS. The last clip shows Jess lying in bed with her tabby cat, Nova. The text over the screen reads “There is no magic solution for all issues disabled people face”. The other text on the screen are the captions which are accurate to the voiceover you can hear.
