I don’t think people understand the weight this show carries. The character developments, the pacing, the message. This show became more than just a cartoon for me and I’m sure a lot of others. We saw a character embracing all of the expectations of the entire world good, and bad, and faced the reality of not knowing what to do. instead of doing what everyone expected he found another way. This show changed my life and I hope it changed others for the better

I watched ATLA at the time my father was addicted to Dr*g$ and was Abu$1v3 to my mother. I was so lonely without a father figure but Uncle Iroh's wisdoms in the series engraved deep within me until now. He's not just a character, he's like a father figure to me and this song means so much to the younger me ❤️
