@dasstyer: Këkht Aräkh is a solo musical project from Ukraine, working at the junction of atmospheric black metal and dangeon synth, created by musician Dmitry Marchenko, who performs under the pseudonym Crying Orc. The project was launched in 2018. The name refers to mythology: "Këkht" refers to the Irish god of healing, Diana Chehta, and "Aräkh" refers to the Cambodian god of poisoning and the evil spirit Arak Kol. Këkht Aräkh's music combines the raw aesthetics of black metal with melancholic, romantic and dreamlike melodies, ambient and keyboard harmonies.
