Let's paint the view of Niagara Falls, N.Y. as an illusion! We're making the painting blend into the scene. We're standing in Gratwick Park, North Tonawanda, looking toward Niagara Falls. You can see the hazy outlines of the Niagara Falls tourism attractions in the distance. We have a special view of both Grand Island and Niagara Falls in this painting. And this water of the Niagara River is flowing straight to Niagara Falls and Horseshoe Falls. This was a tricky match because of the sunny sky, which made the illusion a bit backlit (dark). However, I thought it'd be worth it to paint the special view anyway. (Otherwise, we'd have had to turn the opposite way and paint the parking lot! Lol.) 🖼 To bring home the original art or a signed, limited-edition print, visit my online gallery.
