@shinji.journey: This paper is nearly 100 years old. It hasn't faded at all. Matsuhisa Eisuke Kamiten was founded in 1876 in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, within the historic Udatsu district. As a long-established wholesaler, they have supported the Mino Washi industry ever since. This is a Washi sample book, made for export back in that era. The colors and fibers remain completely intact, a hallmark of true Hon-Minoshi, known for resisting yellowing and deterioration over time. Hand-crafted using techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans, Hon-Minoshi is registered as part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage and regarded as the highest grade of Japanese paper ever made. #JapanesePaper #WashiPaper #MinoWashi #UNESCOHeritage #PaperConservation
