8 months is absolutely postpartum. And it gets even worse around this time because it’s coupled with months of sleep deprivation

It’s too dangerous for women to get pregnant anymore. You’re gonna tell me it’s easier for people to believe this lady just wanted to unalive her children??? I hate this place

My OB with my first was very big on PPD trying to diagnose it early. Because she personally experienced it after having her twins. She stated that she loaded her kids up in the car and was about to leave until her husband stopped her and then got her admitted. She said she had planned to drive off a cliff. She explained that she was in what felt like a trance and her husband talking to her broke it. Now she teaches med students to see warning signs and to talk to their postpartum patients regarding signs and symptoms.

The highest risk time for postpartum mood disorders is 6-24months after birth. Well after we have any follow care for postpartum.

"show me where she was diagnosed" is a crazy question when we're talking about a woman who was failed by medical professionals and sought out help so much she's now accused of doctor shopping

The sad part is that a lot of women are the ones to show NO empathy at all to other women and if they have mental illness

Yeah a basic search shows it can take 12 months to recover IF someone is treated correctly… she wasn’t.

I am so tired of people bringing up postpartum depression. This is not postpartum depression. This would be postpartum psychosis, which are two different freaking things.
