@amandalyncuster: Okay... this happened last week ☕✈️ We were looking at flights Not because we had a holiday planned Not because we'd been saving the dates for months Literally just because... "We haven't been anywhere in a while" 😂 I remember looking at my husband and thinking... Wait Is this our life now? Because not that long ago... Planning a trip looked very different First... Can you even get the days off? Then... How many annual leave days do we have left? Then... Can we actually afford to take time off? And if the answer to any of those was no... The trip wasn't happening! Now the conversation is basically... "Do you want the morning flight or the afternoon one?" 👀 It's funny because people see us travelling and think, "Wow... you must be living the dream" What they don't see are the years before this The trial and error The trades that didn't go the way I'd hoped The moments I questioned whether I was ever going to figure this whole trading thing out The temptation to quit and just accept that maybe this was as good as life was going to get None of this happened overnight It took a lot of patience A lot of learning And a lot of choosing to keep going, even when the results weren't there yet That's why these little moments mean so much to me 🤍 So yes... I'm fully embracing my soft girl era. 😂 I think younger Amanda would be pretty proud of us ✨
