I’m very much the same way! How did you find your friends initially? Did you go to events and converse with people there? Do you just strike up a convo at a grocery store? That’s what I’m struggling with. I’m going out of my way to go to events and things that interest me in hopes to find friends with similar interests but they never end up following through with hang outs after.

I definitely understand the pickiness over friends. In fact, it’s exactly why I don’t have any left. I came to a place where they all fell off over time, most of them stabbed me in the back in one way or another but eventually I realized that the peace that I have now is priceless. Sometimes it’s lonely but it beats having all the wrong people around & I think that when you spend time totally alone you really level up in ways. You really get to master yourself
