spurs have seemingly infinite money right now, united have a squad good enough to finish 3rd but absolutely no depth, we're signing in an attempt to challenge in all comps, we need 3 midfielders, a LB, a CB, a ST and possibly more, so signing a player as good as Tielemans for so cheap is arguably one of the best transfers of the summer so far

The absolute nonsense some fans come out with. Fernandez was wanted because he was expected to be cheap. Not one fan across the league would have wanted him for £85m. To suggest his signing alone has sorted out spurs more than santos and tielemans is comical

there isnt a united fan out there who wanted to spend 85 on fernandes and 100m on tonali, they are the exact Type of deals that have killed us in the past. buying players who dont really want to come on massive fees and massive wages and when they dont work out its impossible to shift them on, united fans wanted to see smart spending and to not have mercenarys at the club, tonali/fernandes are good players but its a huge over pay from spurs where lets be real if other teams put the money down they would have went elsewhere, tielemens is quality and santos is a smart signing lets see how they do, but I guarantee you that most sane united fans would not have liked spending 200m on them two guys..
