My two uncles took part and were the main characters of the expedition Roma 2000. They climbed cho oyu to the too with no oxygen no sherpa alone and with no traced path. My uncle is one of the most experienced alpinists and climbers in europe with more than 400 TD and ED descents in solo with bike approach from Rome Grenoble and Ginevra.
