This is insane. I had a situation about a year ago where the guy told me, in exact words, to “dress to the nines.” I indeed did. I show up and he is wearing a wrinkled t shirt and baseball hat like he just woke up from someone’s couch. So I decided to flip the script. I ordered the most expensive food and drinks from the menu, ignored him, and openly gave the bartender my number. I also decided to announce to other patrons at the bar (men) that this man had set me up. They all heckled the hell out of him. It was an entertaining night!

A 1 mile hike might take half an hour and you could maybe wear tennis shoes. A 10 mile hike could take more than half a day and you need water and food, adequate footwear and clothing, sunscreen, maybe medicine, and supplies and to be in the correct state of physical conditioning before you do that. In my early twenties a guy sent me a list of first date activities and told me to pick whatever I wanted. I said anything but bowling. Of course he pulled up to the bowling alley on the date. I walked in, went to the restroom and stayed there until my bestie came to pick me up. He blew up my phone until I blocked him talking about I “embarrassed” him and I “couldn’t take a joke.” Yeah well turns out he couldn’t make a joke so we’re even. 🤷🏻♀️
