One is a conglomeration of thousands of people that you hate the idea of. The other is an individual person that has done and said horrible things. Its a very different argument for why people hate ‘the media’(if you can even define who specifically that is bc not every person from every org does the same thing) versus one man who proudly stood next to a pedophile and slashed another nations health education safety and other important and critical jobs across the board
