As a fan of both those guys, I 1000% agree. The fact that Kevin Knight just main Evented his first pay-per-view against a Hall of Fame level wrestler like Kenny Omega and once again, Carmelo Hayes is missing a big four PLE in WWE just shows their negligence when it comes to building up young talent.

I would like to be proven wrong, but I believe AEW thinks they've already met their black world champion quota with Swerve Strickland. I don't see Kevin Knight being a world champion in a couple years, maybe 10 years if he sticks around long enough. It's the same. shame what they're doing with Carmelo by the same time. WWE is always going to favour stars that are taller, like at least 6ft 2in and weigh over 220 lbs.
