Had one for a whole summer about three yrs ago. Made the same noises and pounded on my tree every night. My stray cats disappeared. I saw it once and we're talking huge. They're not just in the woods. I'm in an urban neighborhood. If I hadn't exoperienced it myself I wouldn never have believed in them.

I have heard that before, surprisingly I wasn’t scared, well a little that night, but I don’t think they want to hunt anyone , have moved out of area before, could tell that was there area, and camped mile or so away, we are hiking in there back yard move on and I believe you will be fine. 2 for sure calling maybe 3?
