As someone with bpd it pisses me of when ppl self diagnosis bc it took me years of not going school missing my education and just years to get a actual diagnosis bc it when from autism, to ADHD, to ptsd, but it was bpd so pls understand what someone of y'all are doing if you think you have it pls phone a gp an mental health services

I desperately wish that when I was diagnosed with BPD, I was prepared for how difficult it would be to navigate the NHS with it on my file. Some may romanticise it, but there's a lot of stigma and misinformation attached to it, and when trying to receive help for physical health issues, I've been dismissed as "seeking attention" and "being hysterical" (I wish I was joking) the moment they saw that I have BPD.

I dont think tiktok realizes the severity of bpd, like so many people have contexualized us to infantilization its bonkers to me? My biggest pet peeve is , "the way your bpd partner acts is a mirror of yourself" to excuse abusive behaviors within bpd. BPD doesnt just GO AWAY when a partner acts idealistic like wtf
