Oakland Animal control- Not sure if you’re allowed to send info to a private party but if you can, please, send me the three dog’s intake ID and behavioral info. I can post down here in LA and I do know people that can post on animal rescue sites. Let’s get them into GOOD homes.🙏🏾🍀🐶🐶🐶🥰

They take them away to be euthanized; don't think it's for anything good. After a month, if they aren't adopted, they'll be euthanized. 😓

Instead of everyone insisting they somehow prioritize these dogs lives over all the other ones, why don’t you all go repost and spread the word about these dogs. The community needs to help these places out. Shelters don’t receive enough funding to save every single dog. And people aren’t adopting shelter dogs enough to make that a real possibility anyways. If you know people who want dogs, suggest they look at a shelter. You can find purebreds, puppies, anything you want. Stop making workers feel like they aren’t doing enough when they’re literally stretched paper thin. Putting dogs down sucks but it’s the only way we can keep saving more unless the public steps up as well.

For everyone worried about euthanasia, Oakland Animal Services has one of the lowest euthanasia rates in the whole state. These dogs will find homes!
