I went with the Chevy Suburban—and my mom has an Atlas with car seat tilt. As a mom of 3, I really thought I would need carseat tilt, but let me tell you…once your babies need the seatbelt to install their car seat in, the tilt does not work…it only works for those car seats that are using latches. I think it’s a scam and a “selling point” 🤷🏻♀️

I have the Tahoe with the 6.2. I agree on the sunshades. That’d be nice. Also the fuel range in the 6.2 is only 300-350 per tank. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t get it because I needed excellent fuel mileage but it’d be nice on road trips to not have to stop so much.

The expedition only comes with a v6 so it’s not even comparable. I’m on my third Yukon xl Denali, I wish they came bigger- getting my 4th next year.

In 2015 I rented one for a 14 hour road trip think it was before they changed to the bad lifters. Point is it got 20-22 mpg one way was climbing elevation the other was basically flat both were 80-85 hwy speed it also was the last year of air conditioned seats not fans actually air conditioned. I wanted one then 2016 they lowered the mpg and deleted ac seats claiming you can’t tell the difference. Here in Florida it’s generally 100 with 80% humidity you can tell the difference. Anything to save a buck. So yeah absolutely not worth it you have to do a did delete 5K add ac to the seats 3K if you have some company do it. Have to get it dunk tune and once unlocked 2-3K just to get 2015 mpg it has the new 100 dollar Freon in the ac that’s less efficient the list keeps going you lose your warranty and you have a project instead of a turn key. If you don’t do that the engine blows in as little as 1200 miles. Now you have a new car with a reman the diesel has a rubber belt in the oil sump has to be changed frequently or it fails to do that the engine or transmission has to come out 3-5K is it worth the mpg it will be close. Don’t forget gm now reports everything you do with it to the government and sells to third parties

I like my traverse because she’s a lot cheaper than the Tahoe and just a little bit smaller and lot easier to maneuver

Also, hate when you put the third seat down often the middle seat belt from the ceiling is still attached. So you have to climb back there to undo it. It shouldn’t be coming from the ceiling anymore!
