I’m a female to Male Transman, I was born in a body I did not feel myself in with, I struggled behind closed doors and couldn’t tell anyone, I was isolating myself, my whole life I felt like I didn’t fit in, I wasn’t happy with myself, I hated what I saw everyday. Then I met people who I felt connected with and we shared the same story. As a young teenager I used to have an spickmich account (only Germans will know) where you could type with random people and make up role-play stories etc. I always played the male role so confidently. Whenever someone else wanted to play the male role I felt uncomfortable and wouldn’t know how to actually “act/play” like a female. I also used to have an app called Kik where I catfished as a male at the time before even knowing about Trans people. Not my proudest moment..I know, but that was my escape route from the reality I was facing daily. I also used to play Sportacus from LazyTown and always felt such an euphoric feeling. And now Years later I’m at a point of my transition where I can proudly say I love the way I get to wake up everyday, look in the mirror and feel MYSELF, to be blessed with the people I’m surrounded with who also show up for me and love me for the way I am. Little me would have never thought he’d be here today. Thank you.
