bottom line: if your process server is doing this shit they're a bad process server when the opposing counsel inevitably challenges service before you even get to argue the merits of the case and who cares if they ultimately don't prevail it's another headache in your case

I do process serving on the side. In some states/jurisdictions, you can "drop serve" someone. Meaning if you have positive ID on the person to be served and they refuse to take the papers, you just more or less drop it at their feet. Its best to have video evidence such as in this case to show the papers were in fact served.

mine was just dropped on my porch, I didn't know & didn't even see it until days later. I appealed based on illegal service, cited the exact law that proved I was correct, & they still counted it. the server even admitted he simply left it on my porch
