This part of the house seemed particularly suburban, decorated with a multitude of trinkets and framed photos. Though it was the kind of suburban that felt lived in, comfortable, instead of the product of a lengthy Homegoods run. It was thanks to the patterned vintage furniture settled in the living room, or perhaps the oriental rug they sat on, or the verdant fern between them. The lighting of the place also did wonders. Despite holding a relatively cold tone, it was soft and dim, welcoming. Another factor that separated the home from a picture on a real estate website was the scent. One could tell it was an aroma entirely unique to that room, a mix of the house and the people inside it. The smell of old furniture, the lingering evidence of whatever was made in the kitchen, the fresh bouquet leaning over the armchair, the cleaning chemicals spritzed over the fridge doors. Everything about this living room amalgamated into a space impossible not settle into.

Gosh, I have so much more learning to do. Describing space has always been my weaknesses, even when I used to draw 😭. I tried just now and it was too mechanical and flat.

The room looked exactly as it was 20 years ago. the same buzzing of the high end fridge I could never name. The smell of some store brand candle wafting over the antique furniture, cozied up against a pony wall and framed by the fronds of some exotic plant in the adjacent window. Mismatched picture frames and old books lined the pale walls, crammed into the low profile bookshelves and over the marbel countertops like a stream of memories. happy memories. But none of them were mine. this place looked like a home, bursting with life at the seams, a touch of chaos in every nook. And i didnt belong here.

my first thought "Looks lived in, yet eerily empty" so I guess I'm feeling a little spooky today lol

A sort of middle class clutter-scape, the kind carefully assembled and yet not harmonious at all. every corner, every surface was intentionally filled with 'nice' things, not one with a soul, not one costing more than $49.99. the only acception to the scene was a comfy green chair, and the live plant beside it. the chair was too young to have a soul just yet, but over the accumulating reading and conversing hours of its family, it was sure to grow one soon. the plant beside it was tall and lively, likely the only thing in the house that could be said for.

A flock of birds buzzing with colour inhaled the room. Sunlight invited bliss into the home. Cushioned seats rested against bookshelves stacked with books begging to be cherished. The kitchen was cluttered like the patterns on the carpets. Nothing about the home was simple or dull it screamed livelihood hood and Adventure.

It looked like my aunt joyce’s house. The stinky armchair where i blasted one too many farts after uncle rick’s 2004 bbq bean dish. It smells like bella their Pomeranian, even though she passed three halloweens ago. It is also daytime.

He entered a room, so vibrant and full of life, comfort surrounding those around, how could such place exist like a home you belong? (I'm horrible at describing things, but feelings I'm more inclined to be able to describe)

Greediest Man Alive {R.N Alex} :
besides the half wall in the middle it it was a single warm room, nearly everything needed in a home in it, looking in from the window in the back right corner was the glass front door, underneath the windowsill, nostalgic furniture in a tight but not suffocated layout, the right half of the room held the kitchen, fridge, with magnets on the side, and next to the door between the counter was a 3 sectioned lamp filling the room with a soft light mixing iwth the harsh overhead lamp

Deanna walked into her mothers home as she had every Sunday! Large brown paper bags clung to her arms, as she shuffled into the warmth of a home where she always felt a visitor. It reminded her of a library, home for things that she wasn’t meant to touch.

she walked in the kitchy lounge part of the open plan living space, with kitchette. it was packed with knick knacks of a life well lived. as she passed into the kitchen to starting brew her morning coffee, her fingers lovingly brushed the fern standing proud in the corner. basking in the green light streaming throught tall window, over looking her garden.

I entered the room and I am amazed as to how many mirrors there are within it. Some mirrors reflected the beautifully painted piece carved into them some were merely a window to the glass outside. I walked across to the fridge and I couldn't help but notice the pillows sitting in the couch. Why is the light on I wondered. Why is a bulb trying to usrp the sun duties.

I couldn't think of anything besides 'cozy' and 'green.' My eyes immediately fell on the armchair. I suppose the plump pillows on the couch are something I can easily see someone falling on, laying cozily near the window.
(Very great video, thank you. Definitely saved, and definitely will try taking this advice)

I would describe it at first by senses. the warm light the plush carpet underneath my foot. the cluttered books that reflected the chaotic life of mc. the worn out sofa by window and cluttered los book nook that shows the calm underneath they probably crave.

The room was so vibrant, full of life and so beautiful it could snap any sickness away from reality. A decades old room kept all held together by one soul and a will power strong enough to vanquish any negativity. The sunlight contrasted with the. enormous plant bringing an easy glow on the eyes. My mind was hit with a smooth wave of nostalgia when life was as simple as turning on the tv

The open concept and default boob lights were at odds with the rich variety of textures among the antique store finds littered throughout the space. Who needs bespoke architecture when you have impeccable interior decorating skills?
