All all chain link fence are 1-2 inches below the ground and is how they are properly installed. This item will not work the the standard chain link fence. if you have enough space on your fence to slide this contraption underneath then your fence is improperly installed and will fail.

One of my mowing clients has this, and I will say it is actually very helpful. Keeps damage off fence, grass doesn’t grow in fence.
