@dr.emily.nutrition: SAY HELLO TO YOUR NEW BREAKFAST OBSESSION… high-protein chocolate granola clusters 🍫💛 DRY INGREDIENTS 140g buckwheat groats 60g rolled oats 60g soya protein crispies 30g hemp seeds 30g protein powder (vanilla/chocolate) 20g cacoa powder pinch of sea salt WET INGREDIENTS 90g peanut butter (smooth) 3 Medjool dates (about 3 large, pitted) 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted) 2-3 tbsp water (to loosen the date paste if needed) METHOD 1.Pre-heat the oven at 160C fan. Pour the buckwheat onto a lined baking sheet and bake them in the oven for around 8 minutes, mixing halfway through. 2. Meanwhile, soak the dates in hot water for 5-10 mins, then drain. 3. Blend the dates, coconut oil, peanut butter and water into a paste. 4. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. 5. Add the paste into the dry ingredients until evenly coated. 6. Transfer to a lined baking sheet and bake at 160C for 18-22 minutes. Stir half way. 7. Allow to cool completely, before storing in an air-tight container. If you don’t eat it all straight from the jar, for a perfect balanced breakfast pair with Greek yoghurt & some berries. #p#proteinh#highproteing#granolachocolate

is it safe or recommend for children to eat slices like this with protein powder in it? Or is there a substitute that you would recommend?
