I rode 6 hours on a bus in thailand in dead silence. I said hello to my seatmate and she read her book and I played on my phone and quietly chatted with a grandfather who went to pick up his young grandson for a visit. Public transportation in Thailand is so much better than here in the US.

Very impressive only in Thailand onboard even it so crowded but u barely hear anyone talking even there is also too soft volume . I wander why Singapore won’t have this respect onboard not even onboard the buses . Many just too selfish and ignorant keeping space for themselves and bags , turning on music loudly , talking loudly and quarrelling onboard
