If i remember well, the throne was made with swords so it would be uncomfortable to anyone sitting on it, as a reminder of their duty as a ruler, it doesn't have any magic

TG really got Robert Baratheon, and I’ll say it again. ROBERT BARATHEON, defending a TARGARYEN. The same Robert that annihilated House Targaryen before A Game of Thrones. He might be related to Rhaenyra but it doesn’t matter because he doesn’t know her nor hold affection towards her personally, but he knew that Rhaenyra was not spurned nor rejected by the Iron Throne because the Iron Throne is not magical, it doesn’t reject or approve of people.
