This water lacks oxygen, the coloured rocks are awful and so are plastic plants. Get an Air stone, or a filter with water iritation one. I recommend sand as substrte and only having real plants especially with goldies as they wt them.

I think this indicates that the filter is way too high, the filter should not be moving anything around like this & could be a reason it died. Consider reducing the filter speed if you get another fish!
