Ao longo da prova fui apontando os meus favoritos: gostei bastante do Riesling da Alsácia e do Pinot Noir da Borgonha, que considerei bastante elegante! Nos queijos, o Brie de Meaux foi um dos que mais me conquistou! Mas o meu momento favorito ficou mesmo para o fim! O último pairing, um Coteaux-du-Layon (vinho doce do Loire) com Roquefort, surpreendeu-me completamente. Nunca imaginei que um queijo azul tão intenso pudesse combinar tão bem com um vinho doce! Foi, sem dúvida, a harmonização que mais me marcou! 🇬🇧 The experience includes 10 wine and cheese pairings, along with an insight into the world of French wine! Throughout the tasting I kept track of my favourites: I really enjoyed the Riesling from Alsace and the Pinot Noir from Burgundy, which I found wonderfully elegant! Among the cheeses, the Brie de Meaux was one of the ones that won me over the most! But my favourite moment was saved for last! The final pairing, a Coteaux-du-Layon (sweet wine from the Loire) with Roquefort, completely surprised me. I never imagined such an intense blue cheese could pair so well with a sweet wine!
