I have been using tretinoin for 5 days straight, followed by a thick moisturizer. Now, my face has started to look shiny and feels a bit tight, but it doesn't really hurt. Can I add azelaic acid to my routine? I have oily, acne-prone skin, by the way.

I used to suffer from red acne in the face and jaw area. I used 10% Azelaic Acid for two months, then switched to the 20% concentration and continued using it for 56 days. Now, I sent my picture to ChatGPT, and it told me that there is clear clogged pores in the chin area, as well as new small pimples around the chin and face. I am currently using the Ceramide Moisturizer from Rivoli; could it be the cause of this? My skin is combination and sensitive, and I want to combine Azelaic Acid with Tretinoin 0.025%. What do you advise me?"

I’m using tret once a week at the moment and azelaic daily in morning and night and it’s been great. I don’t use Azelaic when I put tret on during the night or the next morning just to add a little buffer. Highly recommend acne girls using azalaic first for 2 months before adding tret!!!
