My daughter’s father told her he would show up to the wedding, but got 15 minutes away and then just decided to no-show because he was bitter that she had asked me to walk her down the aisle instead of him. I’ll never understand it. She was gonna do the father daughter dance w/ him but she felt that since I was the one who had raised her and sacrificed for her that I was the one she wanted to walk her down the aisle.

Lets remember . Eric struggled hard with addiction which resulted in losing custody of Emma and fivorce . Theres no bad blood just that puts a family through a lot .

As a father, whose daughter has gone, no contact I know how he feels- and although we made mistakes as parents, it’s hard to not be forgiven and given a second chance. I know my heart breaks every day not being able to be in my daughter‘s life. Everybody from the outside will judge, but they don’t know the whole story. I can say is that it’s very sad the way it has ended up.
