@deanna_art: Critiquing my tattoos from Ink Master!   Here is current me's feedback to Ink Master me for this tattoo;   Stop shading your initial values with pure black when you plan to add warm colors on top. Black alone under yellows and warm tones makes them muddy or pull green, killing the vibrancy before you even get to the color stage. Mix red into your black for the initial values and your warm colors will sit on top clean, rich, and true to the hue you actually want. Full video is up on my YT:)
