I’m impressed by how much you covered in this short vid. On point, well done. Metal, unless hidden fastener style, wouldn’t last. A 3/12 is a great candidate for PVC, which can mimic standing seam or TPO.

The slope on that roof is insufficient for asphalt shingles to be installed on. it should be a different roof and I would probably just say put a standing seam on it

that roof will need 100 percent ice and water or metal roof, anything else will leak

Some just ice and water shield it and shingle over that’ll last a while. But metal is the appropriate material here
