You are right but you should also know that there are levels to this spirituality. The okpesi is just a symbol not the spirit itself and a new bea in spirituality can easily use it to connect and observe his chi. An advanced or a higher person in spirituality doesn't need to bring his personal entity in one place or tree because he already knows that his chi is inside him.
