Here's another context to add. If women are forever deceived because of what Eve did, men should never be pastors because Adam, the one with a command straight from God, failed to steward that word which is the number one duty of a pastor. Paul meant those particular women were either deceived, or that there was significant risk of deception for women in their current culture.

The passage 1 Timothy 3:8-15 is to humble us! Us meaning the church by reminding us of our roles in Genesis 3:16-19. It is to remind us, the Church to focus on walking in the way of the Spirit and turn away from the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:15 “Yet she will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self control.” You can’t be saved through childbearing but you can be saved through salvation. Childbearing represents salvation. Just as Adam=Groom, Eve= Bride, Jesus=Groom, and we, the church are the Bride. God showed me this….A mother’s womb!! What is the purpose of the womb?” Womb sheds blood! Womb sheds the old monthly to make anew! To give new life, nourish a child, to protect child from the elements as it grows for 9 months until its mature enough for birth! Childbearing is exhausting, nauseous, painful, there are contractions(pressure on body), water breaks giving way to new life. Requires suffering, endurance, and perseverance! Childbearing brings joy! Joy of new life! New life brings hope! What is salvation? Gift of new life. Born again. With salvation comes Spiritual growth! Protection, nourishment, suffering, endurance, perseverance, joy, hope, and well the fruits of the Spirit. A lot of debate about endurance, perseverance, or works that these things are required for salvation or faith. Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith”It’s not a have to!!! Women can’t lead the church. God gave that leadership role to man/Adam. Jesus is the new Adam. Jesus’ bride is the church just like a priest’s bride is his church that’s why they don’t marry. If Jesus wanted women to be in leadership positions wouldn’t you think Mary, his own mother, would have been the best option because she knew his will. But he gave that authority to the apostles. As women we are to be prayer warriors and/or help raise God fearing children. Women will always want authority and leadership, it was our consequence for disobeying God in the garden. Genesis 3:16 Relational Struggle: God declared that her desire would be for her husband, yet he would rule over her, introducing conflict and a struggle for control in human relationships.
