I once had a dentist lie about me having 6 cavities, I got a second and third opinion and had zero.

That’s why I don’t trust the dentist because when I had to get a new dentist when my previous retired, she was like “you have 3 cavities” that apparently my lifelong dentist had just neglected apparently so she filled them, THEN I found out she lost her license for fraudulently identifying cavities on X rays so she could fill them and bill the insurance more. So now when they say everything looks good, I’m paranoid my dentist is just neglecting my teeth, or if there’s a problem I’m worried they’re lying

we had one dentist in our small rural farming town. worst dentist in the world literally fell asleep with his hand in my mom's mouth. but he sent my husband and I a wedding card in the mail so that's nice

One dentist told me I needed four root canals (????) I went to a different one for a second opinion and he said I wouldn’t need any, but to maybe keep an eye on one area. It’s insane how wildly dentist opinions can vary. How do I know the trooth?
