I have NEVER had an owala break on me and I had the same one for like 6 years. I think it’s just that specific one bc it’s the only one I see people saying that it broke.

All owalas have a lifetime warranty, if you put in a warranty claim on their website they’ll either replace the whole bottle or give you a gift card to buy a replacement lid 😊

I have probably 7 and I’ve only had this happen on one, so it’s definitely just a fluke. I would look online for a new lid - if you message the company, they will usually credit your account for the price of a replacement lid.
