I'm currently here in Spain and I'm from Chicago. I've been to Barcelona, Cartagena and Mallorca all been welcoming with open arms. The issue the people are having is with how tourism is making things expensive for them. For example, as Airbnb grows its allowing for less apartments available. So when supply is down and demand is up, the cost of rent goes up.

girl, not in Mallorca, but I was in Bulnes in Spain on tour, and went in to a local cafeteria to eat something and drink some Acuarius.....man goes "too many people at the bar and they are not letting me work" (there was a line). My dad goes "well, we are here to be seated and served, what happens if all these people leave? You won't have people to serve". Guy goes "yall can leave". THE SPANISH PEOPLE THEMSELVES GOT UP AND LEFT WITH US đ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗđ¤Ŗ
