Aside thr GPS locking in. I learnt waterfalls also create water mist which can affect the propeller motors.

im guessing he didn’t wait for the satellite to approve of the flight. typical beginner’s mistake. that’s the reason why we should start with less expensive drones and practice. a dji flip is a great candidate for beginner’s drone
