Set aside the little island feuds and see what we're up against, especially since we are the tiniest of the black diaspora. When one island gets attacked, we're ALL at risk, because we share the same ethnic background and it's so easy for people who aren't West Indian to mix us up.

I think part of this problem is the black diaspora trying to act as a monolith. Other than skin color the diaspora is not culturally the same and that is okay. We have to respect each others cultures not just the color of our skin.
