I think there’s a difference between saying marriage shouldn’t be a woman’s pinnacle of achievement and telling women they shouldn’t call their wedding day the best day of their lives. A “best day” isn’t automatically an “achievement,” and it certainly doesn’t mean someone thinks marriage is the only meaningful thing they’ll ever accomplish. People are allowed to have different moments that hold the most joy and significance for them. Let women enjoy their weddings.

I’m not married but my graduation was boring. Getting a job is lovely. But a day when everyone I love comes out, get dressed to celebrate me eat good food and party, ie bday and wedding is more likely to be more fun. This just sounds like a bad attempt to be woke
