me and my husband were in 8th grade when we watched the towers fall. it's what made him want to join the military after graduation. I lost him 2 months after his 25th birthday. so when I say thank you for standing up for all Americans I really truly mean it.

That “mayor” should not be at that 9/11 Memorial. I don’t believe he’s going there to pay respects to anyone. He’s going there to defy the requests of the families and loved ones of the victims.

I saw the coverage that day from start to finish. We’re flying on 9/11 this year. Our kids (18 and 20) asked if we’re scarred to fly that day. Heck no! I told them, that’s exactly what they wanted 25 years ago, to scare us but we didn’t forget the unity on 9/12. They failed 25 years ago to instill fear that would last. That day kicked off 16 years of an EMS career. I haven’t forgotten but most of the country and New York did. Thank you for taking a stand.
