@atweafour.nyinaadehyie: The Chief of Memahomo, a community near Tarkwa in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality, Nana Kwabena Gyan II has called the Aboso community to stand firm and protect the Gang-Way concession. Speaking on MANTEM POLICE last Saturday 25th July ,2026 on Oyeeman FM, He disclosed that the community should not allow any foreign company (Chinese) to takeover the concession. He said, if a foreigner takes over, there will not be any opportunity for the youth to enter the concession anymore because all sites will be fenced and protected with heavy security. He added,he will be investigating to know if some chiefs have thrown their support to those foreign investors. Nana Gyan said,if any chief, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) or Member of Parliament (MP) supports the Chinese company(Global Ore), he will be fired . He said that, the concession helps the youth to develop the community and get daily bread.
