axeboy is unironically one of the most balanced characters in the game and is incredibly easy to go against once you know how he works. his biggest strength is that hes an unpopular hunter so not alot of people know how to go against him.

Ex 50 Axe Boy here and HE DOES NOT NEED A NERF. TRUST ME. If a person plays him really good I'm glad for them but if you have a constant ping with him it's hell. I remember that he had 2 flames going around the survivor before, now it's only 1 and it's absolutely insane, you could argue, but it was the biggest nerf for him. If you miss that one goddamn flame against a GOOD survivor, count yourself into a POSSIBLE tie. He is also hard to play nowadays with all the movement survivors, so if you don't have a 2nd presence It's gonna be tough. He is a Tie hunter if the team is good.

If an axe boy has peepers you’re cooked, but if not they’re going to be sniping based on prediction. It’s easiest to hit snipes at windows, pallets, and enclosed spaces. Just try to mind purple flames and don’t run a super obvious route. For camp try running behind him when he pulls a soul or stand at the opposite side of the chair to where the direction of the soul is. In most cases it’s easy to rush him, if all else fails just sell or support for rebound.
