@polispandit: Nvidia didn’t “invest” in OpenAI with its $250B financing guarantee. So why take zero upside with all of the downside risk? Because this deal wasn’t going to happen without it. And it reminds me of the vendor financing deals that fell apart in the dot com bubble of the 1990s. #Tech #ai #artificialintelligence #news #finance

Nvidia isn’t just handing OpenAI $250 billion. The idea is that Nvidia could help guarantee or back the financing OpenAI needs to build massive AI data centers. The reason it could benefit Nvidia is because a huge amount of that money would likely come right back into Nvidia’s ecosystem through GPU purchases, networking systems, data center equipment, and software like CUDA. So Nvidia would be taking on some financial risk, but at the same time it could help create years of guaranteed demand for its chips and technology. OpenAI needs enormous computing power to train and run future AI models, and Nvidia is still the leading supplier. It’s almost like Nvidia is helping finance the customer so the customer can keep buying more Nvidia products.

You might have the terms of the deal wrong here. Why would NVDA agree to such financially risky deal? I don’t think they would.

infrastructure is the only moat in AI, not the models, not the apps or even the data. Securing chips, power, land, etc is the single thing that can't be easily replicated, and demand will only continue to grow. So even if OpenAI isn't profitable for a decade these data center deals will be an asset not a liability. Just look at Meta who is planning to resell extra capacity for a profit

Have we seen this before in an industry where it worked? Or is the only case of it in history the dot-com bubble?

No. You are missing the key considerations and the big picture. Nvidia is creating a simple, very small in comparison to their nearly quarterly $80 billion revenue, zero or low interest loan for Open AI to buy a massive amount of their products. They’re betting OpenAI will not go bankrupt and will pay off the loan. Nvidia receives the revenues and profits from the sale of a) their goods, b) services, software, and firmware, and c) the increased market share usage of the Nvidia ecosystem, securing a massive new world-leading AI customer in an early stage of development.

This is us circle jerk nonsense to keep this AI bat shit, crazy stock price from falling like a rock. Have any of these people actually use the latest generation LLMs? There may be 90% accurate at best. Even the original inventor of the transformer said these things are not going to pan out in the end. We’re going to have to change the architecture.

They’re playing with Monopoly money , for starters, and Nvidia is trying to keep its customers alive, if they go away so do their profits and most importantly the AI illusion

sukuna parts for animations The skies over the ruins of Shinjuku didn't just darken; they bled. Thick, oppressive clouds hung like bruised flesh over the shattered cityscape, illuminated only by the crimson arcs of raw cursed energy slicing through the air. At the epicenter of the carnage stood Ryomen Sukuna. Four arms, two faces, and a presence so suffocating that the air itself felt heavy, like breathing liquid iron. Opposite him, surrounded by the remnants of a fallen barrier, stood three special-grade sorcerers. sukuna parts for animations The skies over the ruins of Shinjuku didn't just darken; they bled. They were exhausted, their uniforms shredded, blood dripping from open wounds. Yet, they held their stances, driven by the desperate realization that if Sukuna walked out of these ruins, the world of jujutsu—and everything beyond it—would cease to exist. "You stand before the King of Curses," one of the sorcerers spat, wiping blood from his chin as he channeled every remaining drop of his cursed energy into his weapon. "We won't let you step another foot forward." Sukuna didn't answer right away. He simply rested two of his massive hands on his hips while the other two casually brushed dust from his shoulder. His crimson eyes flickered with a mixture of profound boredom and cold entertainment. "Is that the best speech your generation can manage?" Sukuna’s voice reverberated, carrying a double tone that rattled the bones of everyone within a mile. "How dreadfully predictable. You speak of stopping me as if your lives carry weight. To me, you are merely insects crawling across a cutting board." Before the words fully registered, the air cracked. Sukuna didn't move his feet, but with a casual flick of two fingers, he unleashed Dismall. Invisible blades tore through the concrete street, splitting skyscrapers in half for miles behind the sorcerers. The ground beneath their feet sheared away in clean, razor-sharp slices. The sorcerers barely managed to dodge, thrown back by the sheer shockwave of compressed air. "Too slow," Sukuna muttered, appearing instantly above the leader of the squad. With two arms, he caught the sorcerer by the throat, slamming him into the shattered asphalt with enough force to create a crater fifty feet wide. The second sorcerer rushed in from the side, unleashing a massive wave of localized spatial pressure, targeting Sukuna’s blind spot. Sukuna didn't even turn his head. His extra arms caught the incoming attack bare-handed, tearing through the condensed cursed energy as if it were wet paper. "Impressive technique," Sukuna said, his secondary mouth on his cheek twisting into a cruel, jagged grin. "Formidable against humans. But you lack true refinement." He released his grip on the crushed pavement and stood upright, stretching his four arms wide into the air. The temperature around the battlefield plummeted instantly as the atmosphere pressurized. "Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine." A terrifying, roofless shrine constructed from dark bone and pale horns erupted into existence behind Sukuna. The surrounding space transformed into an absolute slaughterhouse. Within the boundary of his domain, an infinite stream of Dismantle and Cleave strikes rained down without mercy, atomizing every piece of stone, metal, and flesh in an instant. The ground was pulverized into fine dust. The sound was deafening—a relentless roar of slicing air and shattering reality. When the dust finally cleared, the domain faded, leaving a perfectly circular crater where an entire city district once stood. The sorcerers lay motionless, defeated not just physically, but completely overwhelmed by an entity operating on a level far beyond human comprehension. Sukuna stood at the center of the silence, his extra pair of eyes closing briefly as he inhaled the scent of ozone and scorched earth. He looked down at the surviving sorcerer struggling to lift his head from the ash. #partsforheadbop #animators #animeeditors #partsforanimation #jujutsukaisenfans
