The man with the 3 dots is her son; he was taken from her when she was young, like 16. 3 dots grew up in an orphanage then later was taken as a child and grew up a soldier and works as a prison guard...Mom went to prison and 3 dots raped her and she had twins.. The pool scene she realizes the father of her twins 3 dots is not only her rapist but also her son. ( they just happened to be there at the same time he doesnt recognize her from prison)

This is a French movie called Incendies. In this gut wrenching scene, she discovers that the baby she gave up as a teenager grew into the man who tortured and raped her while she was in jail 30 years later. She got pregnant and had twins with his babies. 😳😳😳
