There’s a film left on all metal parts. Theres no difference between that and a cold start. And that filter fills in like half a second so that hiccup ain’t shit

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if your car sits overnight doesn’t all the oil drain out of it anyway, and it does a dry start up for a few seconds, so what’s the difference?🤷

theres still oil on the mechanical parts that get oiled. unless you completely flush it with some kind of solvent.

Incorrect. around a quart of oil is in a standard sized engine even when you have drained it. Why would manufacturers require said extra quart in a new or dry engine?
