She was clearly not in her right mind. That’s why people are asking questions about her husband. Not because they’re excusing her actions, but because he wasn’t the one suffering from postpartum psychosis, and people wonder whether more could have been done to recognize the severity of her illness and keep everyone safe. It’s a tragedy for everyone involved.

The bash on Patrick is crazy , from the facts of the trial seems like she had a whole village, parents moved in , he decided to move his work from home they even had a whole nanny ! Let’s talk about how she had everyone thinking she was taking a whole bunch of meds and was barely even taking them 🙄🙄

100% responsibility lies with the doctors who dismissed her fears and concerns. This was a family dealing with an absolutely unthinkable set of circumstances. Most people have no idea that ppd can end up being psychosis.

she needed inpatient care. her care team did not handle this right and husband failed to get her the help she needed. that kind of hormone disturbance leading to psychosis is essentially like being on drugs to the point of no control. he left his sick spouse alone when he was explicitly instructed not to.
