What’s hilarious is this is a very possible outcome 😂😂😂 unfortunately, Charles won’t stand against his mother and he does get a say in who is around his children. I’ve seen this kind of thing all the time.

Grandparents don’t have rights in the real world. And given the level of abusive behavior from Karen, I can’t see a judge, granting her any visitation.

Y'know, this ending would have made more sense if the judge required that the only way Karen gets to see the kids is pending a psych eval. That way it would have given you fuel for another story line and a new route to explore. Realistically, with all of the evidence regarding the nursing, she would have probably been put on an SO listing, too, which would have given more options.

First of all grandparents don’t have visitation rights. Second of all child endangerment dictates that it wouldn’t be a guardian. It would be a member of CPS.

as a former family law paralegal no way would the MIL be allowed to see the kids at all and Charles would NEVER be the guardian it would be supervised with a neutral party. im REALLY disappointed in this ending. like really

i feel like this is such a real thing that can happen in the legal system though. judges don’t always make the decision people want or is “easiest”. and, in the divorce case this can be changed
