No the Garmin is literally the most accurate for me, I used Apple , Fitbit before and they way over tracked

It could also be that your husband’s watch isn’t calibrated to your walking pattern, height, or stride length.

I feel my Garmin is more accurate. My ring is always higher

Garmin is more accurate in my opinion, my Apple Watch was so in accurate. Also your ring may be uncalibrated 😩

Garmin is usually more accurate but part of the issue is it calibrates its self to you so it’s calibrated to your husband which will throw off the numbers

I use garmin and Samsung ring, the ring is so random sometimes hardly tracks and sometimes over tracks because if hand gestures, garmin is the most accurate for me

Garmin is more accurate. The oura tracks hand/finger movements versus the strides your arms make when walking

i wear both a garmin and oura!! garmin is for my walk/trail running tracking and oura is more for my overall health. it’s crazy cause days i’ll hit say 15k on my oura it will say 18-20k on my garmin. so i’m very interested on which one is MOST accurate and whether one just of them is just under tracking or over tracking!!

I don’t know about the oura ring but the garmin definitely tracks regular arm movements as steps 🥲

I’ve found it doesn’t really matter which device you use as long as you use it consistently. If it says 12k steps one day and 15k the next, you still know you were significantly more active. You learn your own baseline with that device. I don’t track exercise calories though, so maybe that’s why I’m more relaxed about it

I got my Oura like 3 months ago but I used my garmin for 3 years previously. When I switched I wore them both for 3 ish weeks and for sureee agree. Not by too much but usually the garmin had 2000-3500 steps consistently over the oura

Garmen definitely over tracks but honestly usually by the end of the day my Oura ring and garmin are close but when I’m cooking and my garmin tracks a bunch but I wear my stuff on my dominant hand

Can confirm. When I ride in my sxs and hit bumps my Garmin thinks I’ve gone on a loooong walk🤣

it's the opposite for me but I wear my oura ring on my dominant hand and Garmin on my other, so I think it over tracks because I use my oura hand more

As a Garman user, I can say that this is 100% true
