Nope. My mother got a hysterectomy at 36 and never had any hot flashes nothing. My grandmother also had a hysterectomy young and she said she never had any symptoms either so both had nothing for me as I went through it.

My poor grandma was so miserable for so long. I wish I could hug her again and tell her it wasn't her fault, that i now understand and she did amazingly without any support. I remember her mood swings, hot flashes and weight gain. She still took care of me and my son. She made our house a home and she never complained. My grandpa didn't give her enough support.

My mother had anxiety so bad it was almost unbearable to be around her, after she had her hysterectomy in early 40's. She was on so much clonopin and antidepressants she had a liver failure. I catch myself in it these days, feeling so wound up. I am now 45 so I'm pushing to get through it.
