It is literally impossible for a colonial country to exist without it. The only way you can justify the continued genocide of Indigenous people and culture, the stealing of their land and the refusal to pay reparations, is if the dominant culture TRULY believes that it earned all that it has, because of racially superior. This is equally true in Australia, Canada, USA, and New Zealand, as it is in Israel. The entire existence of the colonial state is based on racism, and there will never be justice or peace until these colonial power structures are dismantled. The colonial racist mentality is a mental prison for the oppressor and a physical prison for the oppressed. This is also why the fight for anti-imperialism is completely intertwined with the fight for Indigenous liberation.
