Very simple, just don’t be picky. At one point I had three jobs I was working at the same time, and I still had people telling me they can’t find the job. How do you not find a job when I have three.

hi i work at canes, its cuz youre supposed to apply during the lower months like fall, winter, and early spring. also if you do not find connections, you wont find a job anytime soon. (as someone that applied to 80+ places and none of them responded)

it’s easy for people who don’t understand what everybody else is going through. It’s easy for people to judge and say well you’re not looking hard enough, but we are. I must’ve applied to like 100 jobs last week and didn’t get one interview not one call back not even an email back saying thank you but no thank you it’s just silence and some of us have experience. Some of us don’t have enough experience some of us have degrees and some of us don’t and it’s all the same dead silence and struggle. How about having a little compassion for everybody. We’re all fighting some kind of battle that nobody knows about so be kind.

I’m a community college student in the San Diego area and have been applying to jobs all summer and have only gotten 3 interviews and no offers. Two of the interviews included 2 or more rounds, most places ghost me and don’t even give a call back. In the meantime I’m doing gig work like DoorDash and research studies.

If you can . Make as much as connections you can . I deadass skipped sm steps bc I managed to make connections in previous jobs or ongoing jobs . I landed myself a social work position
